Matthew S. Kuehlhorn
Matt Kuehlhorn, founder of Life Skoolz, has over a decade’s experience teaching important life skills to people of every age in various environments. He has used the Sonoran desert, the Pacific Ocean, the Rocky Mountains, numerous ropes courses and gymnasiums around the country as his classrooms.
Matt currently mentors young adults through Gunnison County’s Juvenile Services and is assisting the development of Gunnison’s Independent Living Skills program. He is a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement and is a trained facilitator for restorative conferences with the Gunnison Area Restorative Practices. Matt and his wife of three years, Annie, are enjoying the arrival of their daughter, Penelope Ruth. They enjoy the sunshine of “Sunny Gunny” and frequently find rejuvenation in the mountains and rivers nearby.
Nathan Kubes–Illustrator of Bully
Nathan Kubes lives and works in Gunnison, Colorado with his five year old son and beautiful wife. He received his Bachelors degree from Western State College and has been working as an illustrator and artist for many years. Nathan has worked with Ram Dass, painted murals around Gunnison, enjoys set-design projects and works as a freelance graphic artist developing business resources.
Teresa Milbrodt–Author of Bully
Teresa Milbrodt received her MFA in Creative Writing and her MA in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Her short fiction has been widely published in literary journals, including North American Review, Nimrod, Crazyhorse, and Cream City Review. Her work has also been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Milbrodt is currently a professor of Creative Writing and English at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado.
