Bully is a story that occurs in schools around the world. Bringing this story, in this format, into your community, provides opportunity for open dialogue about relationships and community culture.

Restorative Justice practices are incorporated when bringing resolution to the conflicts presented in this story. Lessons offered in the “Reflect Now” sections teach important skills essential for building a supportive and collaborative community.

Bully teaches life skills and builds community. The skills taught include;

  • The Practice of Enso–a new way of listening, engaging student’s attention
  • Empathy–feeling what others feel first comes from connecting with our own emotions
  • Talking Story–learning how to tell our personal story constructively
  • Talking Circles–helping to communicate issues before they bottle up
  • Restorative Conferences–combining the lessons together to build community and repair harms
  • Restorative Practice–in review and how do we implement it intentionally?–most likely you already do to some degree
Lessons utilize Experiential Education to create unique, engaging, experiences. The lessons are fun and mysterious. They will assist in the development of healthy community rituals.

Thought provoking, reflective questions are offered to direct conversation and community involvement.
